CATEGORIES TO ENTER (Categories may be combined if there
are less than five projects in an area):
Animal Sciences: development, ecology,
animal husbandry, pathology, physiology, populations genetics, and systematics.
This category will have similar definitions to the Intel ISEF Animal Sciences
Category.
Behavioral and Social Sciences: clinical
and developmental psychology, cognitive psychology, physiological psychology,
and sociology. This category will have similar definitions to the Intel
ISEF Behavioral & Social Science Category.
Cellular Biology, Molecular Biology and
Microbiology: cellular biology, cellular and molecular genetics,
immunology, molecular biology, antibiotics, antimicrobials, bacteriology,
microbial genetics, and virology. This category will have similar
definitions to the Intel ISEF Cellular & Molecular Biology and Microbiology
Category.
Chemistry and Biochemistry: analytical
chemistry, general chemistry, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, physical
chemistry, biochemistry, metabolism, and structural biochemistry. This
category will have similar definitions to the Intel ISEF Chemistry and
Biochemistry Category.
Earth and Planetary Science: climatology,
weather, geochemistry mineralogy, paleontology, geophysics, planetary science
and tectonics. This category will have similar definitions to the Intel
ISEF Earth & Planetary Science Category.
Engineering and Computer Science:
electrical engineering, computer engineering, controls, mechanical engineering,
robotics, thermodynamics, solar, bioengineering, civil engineering, construction
engineering, chemical engineering, industrial engineering, processing, material
sciences, artificial intelligence, networking and communications, computational
science, computer graphics, software engineering, programming languages,
computer systems, and engineering system. This category will have similar

engineering, aerodynamics, alternative fuels, fossil fuel energy, vehicle
development, renewable energies, bioremediation, ecosystems management,

management, air pollution and air quality, soil contamination and soil quality,
water pollution and water quality. This category will have similar
definitions to the Intel ISEF Energy & Transportation, Environmental Management,
and Environmental Sciences Category.
Mathematical Sciences/Physics and Astronomy:
